Abstract

|
The effectiveness of Mitomycin S and Thio-TEPA in suppressing the coneal vascularization was studied.
The method of intracorneal NaOH injection was used to produce neovascularization of the cornea.
1) There is no effectiveness in suppressing corneal neovascularization by Mitomycin S instillation.
2) It has been demonstrated that instillation of 1% Thio-TEPA in oil is effective in suppressing corneal neovascularization.
3) There is no effect in suppressing corneal neovascularization by 1:2000 Thio-TEPA solution.
